Busan Aqaurium

The Busan Aquarium is at Haeundae Beach in Busan.  Our hotel was right down the street from it so it was one of our first stops.  The entrance fee wasn’t exactly cheap but they gave us a good discount for being military 🙂  There were a lot of people there, mostly families with small children.  It was a fun way to pass some time.

The Busan Aquarium, which opened in 2001, is an underground 3-level structure that houses over 35,000 animals and sea creatures.  There are tanks of all sizes, an underwater tunnel, and of course there was also a gift shop and food court.

Johnnie rented a handheld speaker that gave descriptions of everything in English.

Parts of the aquarium were very decorated with things on the ceilings and walls

This little girl had no fear of the giant crabs.

Fake giant snakes and human bones in the Piranha tank… are they trying to scare children?

hehehe… that says jackass 🙂

The 80 meter long underwater tunnel
Johnnie found Nemo 🙂
