Today is our 3rd wedding anniversary! Johnnie and I met on June 22, 2007 and were married on December 13, 2008, surrounded by family and friends in Las Vegas, Nevada. Why Vegas? I’m from Pennsylvania, he’s from Seattle, and we were living in Georgia so we decided to have a destination wedding in a fun location that family and friends wouldn’t mind traveling to. It was a wedding in Vegas, not a Vegas wedding. Everything about our wedding was absolutely perfect and amazing, including the man I married 🙂
We found the most amazing Vegas wedding photographer, Chelsea Nicole, to do our engagement and wedding photos. Chelsea is the sweetest person and did such an incredible job capturing our magical day! All of the photographs below are by her.
It took a little convincing for the priest to allow sabers in the church. Walking down the aisle under the saber arch at the start and end of the ceremony was my favorite part, next to the “you may now kiss the bride” part of course 🙂
Last year for our 2 year anniversary, Johnnie arranged a surprise “Trash the Dress” photo session with our wedding photographer Chelsea Nicole! Since Johnnie is a pilot, we went with an aviation theme. It was so much fun and we love the photos!
