AK Plaza is a large shopping center that shares a building with Suwon Subway Station. Parts of it resemble a shopping mall with individual stores and restaurants, while other parts of it more resemble a large department store where there are simply sections for clothing, shoes, accessories, etc. AK Plaza is a multi-level building and each level has a speciality. There is a floor for women’s clothing, a floor for men’s clothing, a floor for home fashions, etc.
There are many places in Korea where you can find great deals on practically anything you want. AK Plaza is not one of those places. It seemed that everything I looked at had a price tag of 100,000 to 300,000 won (which roughly speaking is $100 to $300). There were sales racks where things were listed for 50,000 to 70,000 won. I think I prefer to shop in the markets where the prices are lower and bargaining is allowed!
