Gyeongdong Market – People

On our first trip to Seoul, Jennie and I went to the Gyeongdong Market which is known for being the largest herbal medicine and ginseng market in South Korea.  It was large, crowded, and full of interesting sights!  There were blocks of streets and alleys lined with stores and stalls.  There were also many people selling their products on the sidewalks.  This will be a two-part post, dividing my photos into ones including people and ones simply of the products being sold.

She’s buying chicken feet.  What exactly does one use chicken feet for?
This vendor is peeling chestnuts, a very common nut here.
That’s uncovered and unrefrigerated raw chicken.  How long before it goes bad?
